Apartment Section

The Apartment Section of the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA)plays a crucial role in the monitoring and execution of LDA’s Apartment Sale schemes and is responsible for the registration, allotment, Registry and related process of Apartment Units offered in all the Apartments projects of LDA within the Lucknow Development Area. The registration of the Apartment Units is carried outthrough its ‘First Come First Serve Scheme’ or through Lottery System.

Additionally, the Section manages the refund process, addresses public grievances related to the said properties, as well as transfer of property, and the name change (mutation) process are also its key responsibility.

All the tasks are processed with necessary verification and approval procedures ensuring a transparent, organized, legally compliant and efficient housing allotment system in Lucknow Development Area. The Section also manages agreements and financial transactions under all of its payment terms, ensuring compliance with the terms and conditions of respective property allotment scheme.

The ‘First Come First Serve’ of Lucknow Development Authority is an online allotment Scheme that simplified browsing with real-time available apartment units of LDA on its FCFS Portal, registering, and securing the selected unit with minimal payment of registration amount. This Scheme ensures that every applicant has an equal and fair opportunity of selecting the Apartment unit of choice.

LDA has constructed 58 Apartments (35 in TRANS Gomti and 23 in CIS Gomti) spread across all of its Scheme with a total of 19,237 units, out of which total 17,169 units have been allotted till the month of Feb 2025 (13,553 in TRANS Gomti and 3,616 in CIS Gomti). The configuration of these apartments range from 1 BHK unit to 4 BHK unit designed for all income groups. Registries has been completed for 15,565 units across its Schemes, with 94 per cent in TRANS Gomti and 20 per cent in CIS Gomti. Here, 2,070 unitsare an unsold inventory of Apartments contributing to only 10 per cent of the total units offered as last observed in Feb 2025, which are being offered through its ‘First Come First Serve’ Scheme.

The Apartment Section is also a part of various Camps organised from time to time to facilitate pending registries for Public. Additionally it conducts Apartment Fests at various locations across Lucknow to promote the sale of its available apartments, and enhance awareness about ongoing sales schemes.
